Monofilament Polydioxanone (PDS) Surgical Suture is a synthetic, absorbable monofilament suture designed for extended wound support and predictable absorption. Manufactured from poly-p-dioxanone, it provides excellent tensile strength retention and minimal tissue reaction.

This suture retains approximately 50% of its tensile strength at 30 days and is fully absorbed through hydrolysis in about 180 days, making it ideal for procedures requiring long-term tissue approximation.

The smooth monofilament structure ensures low tissue drag, reduced infection risk, and secure knot performance.
