Monofilament Polyglecaprone 25 is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture made from a copolymer of glycolide and epsilon-caprolactone. Designed for smooth tissue passage and reliable wound closure, it offers excellent tensile strength and secure knot performance with minimal tissue reaction.

This monofilament suture retains approximately 50% tensile strength at 14 days and provides wound support for up to 21 days. Absorption occurs through hydrolysis, with complete absorption within 60–90 days, ensuring predictable healing support.
